Polish & finish
A final treatment stage tuned to your supply. For town water, this targets trace contaminants and heavy metals. For tank water, this is typically UV sterilisation that handles bacteria, viruses and microbial activity.

Designed for treated mains water. The focus is removing chlorine and chloramines added at the treatment plant, reducing sediment from ageing mains, and addressing trace heavy metals from older internal plumbing.

Coffee, tea, drinking water that tastes right.
Chlorine is what makes tap water taste "treated". Take it out and the taste of the water itself comes through, along with anything you make from it. Coffee tastes cleaner. Tea isn't dulled. Ice melts without an aftertaste.

Chlorine in shower water strips natural oils from skin and hair. Many customers report softer skin and less itchiness within a week or two of installation, particularly in households with kids or anyone prone to sensitive skin.

Call usWouldn't a jug filter or under-sink unit do the same thing?
A jug or under-sink filter only treats the water you drink from the kitchen tap. A whole-home system filters every drop entering your house, so showers, washing machines, dishwashers, ice makers, garden taps and toilets all get filtered water.
That means cleaner laundry, longer appliance life, softer water on your skin and hair, and filtered ice from the fridge. Not just better-tasting tea.
How often do the filters need replacing?
Typically every 12 months for the primary stages, longer for some secondary stages depending on your water and household size. UV bulbs on tank water systems are usually annual too.
We send a reminder when service is due and handle the replacement ourselves, so you never need to track it.
How long does installation take?
Usually half a day. One visit. The system sits on the main water line, typically near where the mains enters your house. Water is off for a short period during install. Cleaned up before we leave.
Will it work on tank water?
Yes. Tank water needs different filtration to town water: heavier mechanical pre-filtration for debris, plus UV sterilisation to handle bacteria, algae and other microbial life.
We size the system to your tank, roof catchment and household needs. Hybrid town/tank setups are common in the Macedon Ranges and we handle those too.
Will it affect my water pressure?
Properly sized for your home, no noticeable drop. Undersized systems can restrict flow, which is one reason we site-visit before quoting. The recommendation depends on your incoming pressure, household size, number of bathrooms, and whether you have any high-flow fixtures like rainwater shower heads.
What does the system cost?
It depends on your home, water supply, and what level of filtration you need. The site consult is free and you'll get a written quote with the recommended system before you commit.
